2012 Hong Kong Art & Design Festival • Yan Chai Charity Gala Dinner was successfully held on 1 September 2012 at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. The ceremony was officiated by Dr. the Honorable Ko Wing-man, Secretary for Food and Health, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The event was entertained by a diverse programme. Apart from the charity auction and fashion show performed by some famous artists and models, there were “Outstanding Greater China Design Awards” and “Ten Outstanding Designer Awards” presentation. Thos awards are in recognition of the achievement and contribution to the designers with distinguished performance and innovative ideas. By recognizing their significant contribution, it also encourages the designers to participate in charity and community services in order to enrich the future development of our society. Being one of the winners of “2012 Outstanding Greater China Design Awards”, we subscribed a corporate table to support the Yan Chai charity event.
All net proceeds of the gala dinner will go to the “Yan Chai Education Services Fund”, with an aim to support the educational development and the teaching quality enhancement of the 23 Yan Chai subsidiary schools.
