To encourage children be kind and helpful, Hong Kong Red Cross has launched an educational program: "Red Twinkle Star" Campaign. Children will be nurtured the importance of humanitarian spirit, and learnt to respect life in daily actions.
With the new theme "Hero in Action" this year, the "Red Twinkle Star" Campaign aims at promoting humanity stories of historical figures to children. Children are encouraged to learn from them and practise good virtues such as kind, brave, determined, empathic and persistent, and learn to serve others in action in daily life.
Proceeds raised will support the humanitarian works of the Hong Kong Red Cross, including local disaster relief & tracing service, community care services, youth and volunteer, special schools, health and care services, rehabilitation and blood transfusion services.
